THE ALPHA UPSILON FOUNDATION

The Alpha Upsilon Foundation was established in 2008 with the single purpose of supporting the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. through fellowship, mentoring and scholarship. The Foundation is supported by membership donations from alumni of the Alpha Upsilon Chapter as well as through a variety of fundraising activities.

In 2012, The Foundation became a non-profit, tax exempt, publicly supported organization as described in Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code. The Foundation exists as the philanthropic arm of Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

The Chapter was chartered in 1935 on the campus of Kentucky State College in Frankfort, Kentucky.

The VISION of the Alpha Upsilon Foundation:
To become the premier Greek letter Foundation in its resources and services to the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the students of Kentucky State University.

The MISSION of the Alpha Upsilon Foundation:
To provide support for Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, it’s members and other students of Kentucky State University with particular emphasis on fellowship, mentoring and scholarship.
